The Equivital Lifemonitor is a physiological monitoring device capable of collecting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, skin conductance and accelerometry data. The extended battery life and data storage capabilities of the device allow for continuous data collection over the course of a day in the field. Live-streaming and visualization of the data is possible through the compatibility of the device with programs such as LabChart. Furthermore, compatibility with data analysis programs such as Kubios allows for the analysis of time-domain, frequency-domain and non-linear heart rate variability metrics.
