Dr. Kristen Koltun was recently awarded a JPC-5 grant as a Co-Investigator titled "Hormonal Contraceptive Use and Stress Fracture Risk during Entry-Level Military Training" with collaborators from the Uniformed Services University (USUHS). The funded study may help to inform evidence-based recommendations about contraception use with respect to musculoskeletal health in female service members.
