The Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (TACSM) sponsors a lecture tour to bring to the state a prominent scientist/clinician in the area of exercise science and medicine each fall. The NMRL director, Dr. Bradley Nindl, FACSM has been selected as the TACSM Fall 2019 lecturer. He will give a series of 5 lectures over 5 days at Texas A&M University-Kingsville (Monday, 21 October), Southern Methodist University / Institute for Exercise & Environmental Medicine (Tuesday, 22 October), Texas Tech University (Wednesday, October 23), Tarleton State University (Thursday, 24 October), and Texas A&M University (Friday, 25 October). His lectures will consist of his research addressing both military human performance optimization and insulin-like growth factor-I as a biomarker for fitness and health outcomes.
